Since the pandemic occurs, many events have been delayed or cancelled, however after the three year pandemic drought the Anime Festival Asia Singapore (AFA) 2022 is coming this November. With a 3 day event that includes Meet & Greet sessions, special screenings of anime shows, talks, exhibitions and many others with the special ‘Phygital’ enhancement feature, AFAVERSE. Anime Fans sure have a lot to look forward to!

In its full glory, visitors will enjoy a game-like experience from the moment they step into the festival grounds. Ticket holders to the festival will get a specially-designed NFC-enabled band known as the AFA-Band! It is to earn AFA Hero XP, AFA Coins, instant discounts and unlock virtual easter eggs. They can also design their own Seika AFA-tar which is an avatar life character used throughout the process of unlocking special skins from AFA-Pitstops or they could exchange them for limited-edition accessories with AFA-Coins.

AFA Night LIVE!

Enjoy the 10th Anniversary Event Premiere Screening of Sword Art Online – FULLDIVE. Also, hololive Meet is an interactive live talk show and Meet & Greet session with some of the world’s most famous virtual YouTubers (VTubers) and artistes. As well as I Love Anisong, a series of fan-favourite music performances.

Creators’ Hub x pixiv

For the first time, AFA partners with pixiv, Japan’s largest online art community, to present the largest ever Creators Hub. On pixiv, users share illustrations, manga, and novels with close to 20,000 works from 230 different regions worldwide posted daily. pixiv is also hosting an Illustration Contest, where the winning entry will receive cash prizes, a free Creators Hub booth and a chance to display the original artwork on pixiv.

Exhibitor Highlights

Meet & Greet Sessions
