BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE is Exploring the World with it’s Latest Single – LAST DANCE NI BYE BYE

The band’s self-titled album in 2019 has topped a few charts such as Billboard JAPAN Top Album Sales and Spotify Viral Charts. It is not a surprise that they won the Rising Star Award at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan (VMAJ) in the same year. Meet Japanese boy band, BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE.

BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE consist of Ryuta Hidaka, Yoshiyuki Kano, Ryusei Kainuma, Miku Fukahori, Rikiya Okuda, Riki Matsui, and Masahiro Sunada. The seven talented members can dance, sing, rap and do acrobatics. With a mix of Hip-hop, R&B and J-pop in their songs, the band usage of different genres enable listeners to hear different range of music.

Back in May, the band has released their fifth single, LAST DANCE NI BYE BYE and it was listed in the SEA New Music Friday Playlists. Co-written by JAY’ED, the single explored on relationship between two individuals where one is still hung up on past relationship and has yet to move on before coming in this new relationship. The music video for LAST DANCE NI BYE BYE amplified the band’s dance skills which was the band’s objective for this music video. Not only do they want to make music that is pleasing to the ears but also visually appealing through their dance.

Other than releasing their single, the band also celebrated their third anniversary since their debut in May. Recalling back since their debut, Sunada shared about their experience during their promotional activity in South East Asia in 2019. Even though they faced some challenges, he was confident that the band could overcome it. To him, this is the first step towards their goal of going global which has been the aim of the band.

And their wish is coming true as the band will be exploring out of Japan soon. Next month, the band will be moving to Thailand for six months. A lot of exciting things are in the line up and since the band will just be a few hours away from Singapore, let’s hope they might stop by Singapore!
