Samsung in partnership with Viu held the Samsung Galaxy Exclusive Launch Party on August 10 at Gardens by the Bay. The party featured two TV personalities from South Korea, Park Min Young from What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim and singer-actor, Kim Jong Kook from the variety show; Running Man.

Kim Jong Kook opened the meet and greet session with the host, Jean Danker. The charismatic and sports junkie actor was dressed in a white shirt and jeans as he greeted his fans on stage. He played stage games with fans using the new Samsung Galaxy Note9 by sketching a few images for fans to guess and Chilli crabs was one of them! He shared how the camera feature on the Samsung Note was able to capture his adventures and travel.

It was Park Min Young first ever fan meet in Singapore since in the entertainment industry for 10 years. She is known for the television show, What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim which was highly watched on Viu and TVN in Singapore. The thirty-two-year-old actress was in a black dress while greeting her enthusiastic fans. Lucky fans were invited on stage to play games which her. The most memorable one includes a re-enactment of a cute and romantic scene from the drama. The fans had the chance to take selfies with the new Samsung Note9 with her!

The two Hallyu personalities were presented with their own personalised Samsung Note9 at the end of the event accompanied with a caricature of their own! Fans and attendees were given a special perk, 12 months of premium viewing of television dramas on Viu!
