As the year comes to an end, it is time to give some recognition to those who deserve it. Influence Asia aims to honour individual or group achievements in the Social Media Influence industry across Asia.

For the first time ever, this award show will feature the Top 35 nominees each from 5 countries, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand. The nominees list is out. Is your favourite in the list?

Expect your favourite social media influencer to grace the event.  This is your chance to catch them. The award show is by invite only but hey, you can catch a glimpse of them on the red carpet from 11.30am on December 7. Crossing my fingers that Lara Alana, I believe the youngest to be nominated in the list, will be attending the event. Just only a year old, Lara has over one million followers on Instagram. She is the daughter of Scha Alyahya and Awal Ashaari, both well known celebrities in Malaysia!

Other than the social media influencers, the event will showcase performances by local talent Shigga Shay and Gareth Fernandez, Malaysia’s Joe Flizzow and Sonaone, Indonesian’s sweetheart Raisa and Thailand’s Dandee.

Hosted by Sheikh Haikel and YouTube personality, Peter Chao, there will be special appearances by Jay Park,  Yebin, Redfoo and Girls’ Generation, Tiffany. 100 pairs of tickets will be given out on Saturday, 21 November and Sunday, 22 November along the stretch of Orchard Road! Keep a look out for the Influence Asia’s troop outside Takashimaya with the specially-designed Influence Asia airboards on 21 Nov, Saturday (3pm – 6pm) and 22 Nov, Sunday (3pm – 6pm). Take a photo with them and remember to hashtag #influenceasia, tag a friend you would like to bring along and follow them on Instagram. Show it to the troops and you win yourself a pair of tickets to Influence Asia 2015 if the social media team contact you within 48 hours.
