Born in Montpellier in Southern France, Emilie Simon is known for her bold, experimental blend of electronic and pop music, tied together with arresting vocals that draw comparison to musical legends such as Kate Bush and Björk.
As part of her Asian tour in 2015, this will be Emilie Simon’s first ever concert in Singapore, where she is set to captivate the audience with her signature sound.
Even from an early age, Emilie Simon already won critical plaudits as early as 2003. A beautiful voice like hers, carries a bittersweet story along with her talent. In 2011, she released her album Franky Night, a heartfelt tribute dedicated to her late fiancé who tragically lost his life due to the H1N1 virus. Her latest album, released in March 2014, is entitled Mue, the French word for ‘molting’.
With a voice like that, she will captivate audience with her vocal intensity and acrobats.
Personally, I’m really excited to check out her live performance! Get your tickets at Peatix!
