The story of Michael and Carissa goes like this:

Boy meets Girl, both of them fall in love with each other, and they both combine forces to form a musical team and Us The Duo was born. The talented pair started posting covers on YouTube which received some success which prompted them to write their own music together and release their own self-titled album. Michael and Carissa got married and have been traveling and playing music together since then.

The husband-and-wife team rose to prominence early this year via popular app Vine with their impactful 6 second covers of hit songs and medleys. Some of you might have stumbled upon the duo from social mediums like BuzzFeed and Business Insider and heard of their viral mash-ups of Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. Us The Duo’s full-length album, No Matter Where You Are, reached #9 on the iTunes Pop Albums Chart and landed Top 30 on the overall Albums Chart. The couple recently completed their first headlining tour throughout North America to a sold out audience.

Us The Duo are currently on tour with Oprah Winfrey as a musical guest on her “Life You Want Weekend” tour, and their single “No Matter Where You Are” is featured in the new animated film from 20th Century Fox, “The Book Of Life”.
