I was shocked when I saw tweets mentioning that Matchbox Twenty will be holding their first ever concert in Singapore since I have not heard from them for quite sometime.
I grew up listening to Matchbox Twenty and my all time favourite song is Unwell.
I just love the depth in the lyrics which is hard to find in songs produced today.
The band released their fourth album, North, last September which made its debut at number one on the Billboard 200. I had the chance to listen to She’s so Mean on Kiss 92 yesterday and I immediately know that it is from Matchbox Twenty. Listening to the single makes me excited for their performance in Singapore.
So lets take this chance to catch Rob Thomas, Paul Doucette, Kyle Cook and Brian Yale on 10 November at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. I hope they will perform songs from the previous albums as well.
