Listed by The New York Times as one of the best international shows of 2024, A Shop for Killers revolves around Jin-man, a former mercenary, and Jian, his niece who found herself on the run from some of the world’s deadliest assassins.

Season two has officially landed on Disney+. Lee Dong-wook returned as the most wanted alongside Kim Hye-jun, with the hit action thriller expanding its world beyond Murthehelp — the dark-web shopping mall that supplied arms and equipment to contract killers and more.
After an adrenaline-fuelled first season with a dramatic ending that left us reeling, do yourself a favour: binge-watch the first eight episodes before diving in. It is essential to understand the origins of the sinister mercenary organisation, BABYLON which Jin-man had left behind in his previous life.

This season showcased an incredible punch through its choreographed fight scenes. My personal favourites are the tense showdowns between Jin-man and Bale. Jo Han-sun (in grey), who played Bale, shared that viewers can expect to see more of his cold-blooded, relentless side alongside even tighter fight sequences as the leader.
If the first was just the warm-up, the second season elevated the swordplay and gun warfare to an entirely new level. Seeking retribution following Jin-man’s disruption, BABYLON tapped on its Japanese branch to deploy its most dangerous assets.
Leading this new threat are Korean actor Jung Yun-ha and Japanese co-stars Masaki Okada and Hyunri, taking charge as the East Asian division’s top assassins intent on reshaping the organisation’s future.
Will Jian join forces with her uncle in defending the Murthehelp against the BABYLON?
