Two local brands joined forces to bring you Singapore’s first enriched rice gelato. This unique collaboration between SōngHè Plus and Burnt Cones aims to provide you a nutritious and lower-calorie dessert; two words you never thought you would see describing gelato.

Launched on Labour Day, the gelato features SōngHè Plus Enriched Fragrant Rice which comes packed with nutrients such as dietary fibre, iron, zinc and folate. The rice gelato smooth texture is the result of the rice being blended finely. You can taste the sweetness thanks to the pandan leaves that were cooked together with the rice. Retailing at $6 per cup, your cup includes two chocolate Pocky sticks which resembles chopsticks, a staple utensils for eating rice in this region.

Enjoy this dessert for a limited time as it will only be available till July 31. What is rewarding is that while enjoying the gelato, you are also helping children in need from Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home.
