Pizza Hut has been around in Singapore since 1981. Fast forward to 2023, it is now the largest pizza chain restaurant in Singapore with 75 outlets. It has always been the favourite and go-to pizza brand for a lot of family gatherings. Pizza Hut also have always been innovative bringing in new flavours to suit local palette as well seasonal offers.

We were given the opportunity to preview the new Assam Laksa pizza from Pizza Hut that launched on 27 March 2023 and will be available until 15 May 2023.

The Assam Laksa Pizza comprises an aromatic blend of herbs and spices – topped with Spicy Chicken Chunks or marinated Prawns, Pineapples, Onions, Olives, Chilli Padi, Lime and Mint Leaves on a deliciously fragrant base of Assam Laksa Sauce.

What is interesting about it, it has sprigs on mint on top. It adds to the flavour of Assam Laksa. This pizza is not for the faint hearted thought. It is sprinkled with bird’s eye cili (cili padi) and the sauce itself packs a punch. I love the fact that they use chunks of chicken instead of minced or shredded. The flavour of the assam laksa is really infused into the meat and pizza crust.

The set came with their standard garlic bread which is a crowd’s favourite, and honey wings.

We were also given the opportunity to try the snack box comprising of:  Chipotle wings, waffle hashbrown, garlic mozzarella poppers, and chicken nuggets. I have to say, the poppers when warm, it’s really addictive! And the Chipotle wings really has a unique, smoky, bbq flavour. A lovely addition to their signature honey wings.

Overall, we are grateful to have been given this opportunity and pizza hut overall, never fails. So all you spice lovers out there, do give this limited edition flavour a try!
