Planning to dine in town but looking for something delicious yet wallet-friendly at the same time, look no further as I am going to share with you a dine-in located at the heart of the city! Located at Food Republic 313@somerset, Deelish Brands presents to you their new multi-concept store in one location. The new multi-concept store features 800° Pizza, Buttrmilk and Blimpie. 

The Fifth Parlour was invited to check out the new store and had the opportunity to taste some of the food from each brand.

800° Pizza is known for its hand-stretched pizzas created using the freshest ingredients and we were treated to their Tartufo Pizza ($15.90) which is suitable for our vegetarian friends. The truffled mushroom-based pizza will make you drool. The crust was fluffy and not hard or extremely doughy. Even though it has turned cold, the crust was still crispy. Of course, this is best eaten right straight from the oven. As someone who loves truffles, the fragrance was welcoming and the mix of the onion together with the truffle made the whole experience better! This is not your usual mushroom pizza.

Next, we had The Buttrmilk Original ($7.50) which consist of waffles and fried chicken served with maple syrup from Buttrmilk. Known for its ​​fried chicken and waffles, I like the battered crust as it was not too salty and the waffle together with the maple syrup was a good combo. However, the chicken meat was too chewy for my liking. 

We ended the tasting session with Ground Beef and Cheddar Hot Subs ($8.90) from Blimpie. It is known for its fresh subs with generous fillings. Paired with a thick bun, the beef was slightly spicy for me even though for someone who can take spicy food. The spiciness in the sub must have come from the green chilli that I tasted!

I appreciate that everything was made to order and assured that they use fresh ingredients in their food. With a good location and an affordable price, you might want to check out this place for your next meet up in town. For our Muslim friends who are fasting, did I tell you that they are Halal-certified. You can include this in your list of places to break fast!

If there is one food that you need to try, it has to be their Tartufo Pizza!
