Westlife Celebrates their 25th Anniversary with Three Sold Out Shows at Singapore Indoor Stadium

Irish boyband, Westlife, is back in Singapore after promising fans last October during their performance at Formula One. As predicted, tickets were sold out during the first day of sales. With such a huge following and great showmanship, it is not shocking that they managed to sell out not one, not two but three shows!

I managed to watch Westlife on day one of their concert. This is my first time watching the band live. Previously, I had the opportunity to watch Shane Filan when he did a concert in Singapore.

The one and a half hours concert was filled with nostalgia as they performed their hits such as Swear It Again, Flying Without Wings, World of Our Own, My Love, If I Let You Go and Uptown Girl. They performed an ABBA medley consisting of their popular hits such as Mama Mia, Waterloo, I Have a Dream and many more!

Just like any and all boybands, you can expect cheesy dance moves throughout their performance. However, it was palatable as you were able to see the different personalities within the band. And did I tell you that Westlife still got it even though they have been in the industry for 25 years. Their moves, voice and everything about their performance just makes you feel that you just want more. Did you know that the show was rated Advisory 16 as it deemed that there will be some mature content?

My friends and I had a good laugh when we saw the advisory. The one and half hours felt really short as I do not want it to end! Westlife shows you that you do not need a grand stage or dancers to make a performance outstanding. Thank you Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan for a great show!
