After two long years, the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix night race is finally returned back in Singapore. Whilst many of us are avid followers of the F1 Grand Prix, there is also a handful of us who loves attending the Grand Prix because of the entertainment lineups. And thankful enough, we had boyband heartthrobs, Westlife headline one of the nights for this year’s gig.
Despite the heavy rain and muddy pits for Saturday’s show, fans still braved the weather to catch a glimpse of the boyband legends belting out their biggest hits. The boys started the show with Starlight, off their latest album and moved on to popular ballads like My Love, If I let you go and Flying without Wings and even did a ballad of ABBA’s classics. Honestly, the entire concert from start to end felt like a singalong because you could clearly hear the entire crowd of 50,000 people singing their hearts out alongside the boys. Before bidding goodbye to the fans, Westlife revealed that they would be back in Singapore in February!
A few days later, the boys teased us with the concert poster. They will return to Singapore on 16 February 2023 as part of their Westlife The Wild Dreams Tour 2023. Fans can expect the boys to perform classic hits like Uptown Girl, Swear It Again, World of Our Own, Hello My Love, and also fresh pop songs from their latest album Wild Dreams.
Tickets are now available on Ticketmaster and we do hope they will consider adding another night in Singapore because tickets have been snapped up so quick.
