Best Artist of the Year 2018 by BBC Introducing in Shropshire, Cally Rhodes has received a lot of attention online. Her single, System, has since been streamed over 3.5 million on Spotify and if that is not remarkable enough, one of her covers was seen by the band.

Her acoustic rendition of Touch by Little Mix  got the attention of Perrie Edwards of the Little Mix. She tweeted on the band’s main account “You already know how i feel about #TouchAcoustic 💓 @CallyRhodes did it justice!! Yaaaaas lady, singggg it.”

The rising pop sensation has just released her single, Summer of My Life on iTunes and Spotify. Rhodes wrote the single with Si Hulbert, who has worked with Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Dido and Jess Glynne. The single is described as playful and melodic pop song that was based on a past summer romance. Her inspiration behind the song was the season of Summer. According to Rhodes, Summer is usually when best memories are created and most excitement happens. She wanted to capture that adventure as well as the nostalgia that everyone feels every year.
