The Fifth Parlour had the opportunity to attend an exclusive showcase with Lauv when he was in town to support Ed Sheeran as his opening act on the Divide Tour.

Fans were treated to an intimate acoustic set on board the Singapore River Cruise as Lauv played stripped down versions of his songs The Other and radio hit I Like Me Better.

To say that the 23-year-old singer-songwriter is vocally gifted is an understatement, as we can attest that he sounds just like he does on record! It was refreshing to hear a live rendition of the songs with just the accompaniment of a keyboard.

To round off the session, everyone also had the chance to interact with and get a photo with Lauv himself. Some fans even brought along gifts for him, which he gladly shared on Instagram afterwards. We certainly enjoyed spending the afternoon with Lauv and we hope that he will be back in Singapore for his ‘I Met You When I Was 18.’ World Tour!
