Soul artist emaé has received recognition from across the globe for her debut single, Something Beautiful which was released in 2015. She was even featured on Afropunk, MTV The Wrap Up, MOBO.

Recently, emaé just released her single, Better which is the first single from her upcoming debut album that is set to release this year. Better is a very personal single to her; she wrote and composed the single. “Better is the song for right now, it 100% reflects where I’ve been the last year and also where I’m going. It’s a song of resilience, confidence and certainty. It’s a song I’m extremely proud of,” explained emaé. When I first heard of her single, the first thing that came to my mind was Adele. She does reminds me of Adele. Don’t you think so?
