Gentle Bones in South Korea!

Joel Tan also known as Gentle Bones was in Korea last month for two spectacular events. Fresh from his first television appearance on the Your Squad is Better than My Squad, he announced that he would be performing at the annual Asia Song Festival at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium on October 9 alongside biggest names in the Korean entertainment industry such EXO, SEVENTEEN, TWICE, NCT , Simon D, MAMAMOO and Lay. Also not forgetting other international acts in Asia such as Sean Li from China, Noo Phuoc Thinh from Vietnam and Noo Phuoc Thinh from Japan.

On the following evening, Gentle Bones had an intimate and personal performance at a cafe, dal.komm coffee in downtown Seoul. If you are a fan of the Korean drama, Descendants of the Sun, you would probably heard about this cafe. The atmosphere was rather different compared to last night’s performance. The patrons of the cafe was happily watching while they sip their warm coffee.

The 30 minutes showcase organised by Universal Music Korea drew a crowd. Performing a few tracks from his EP, Geniuses & Thieves and his singles; Until We Die and Elusive, the event saw locals as well as  a handful of Singaporeans who were in Seoul on holiday. The humble and down to earth performer ended the night with a short autograph session. His latest album plus other merchandise such as tote bags and t-shirts were also available for sale during the session.
