There has been a lot of buzz on the internet regarding Ramadan Bazaar all over Singapore. I had the opportunity to check out one of the booths at Eunos Ramadan Bazaar, which is located near Eunos MRT.

The Ugly Duckling serves unique western food with a twist of Malay traditional dishes. Their specialty will have to be their duck dishes – Duck Leg Confit Burger and the Duck Fat Cheese Fries. Fans of duck meat might find the food to be a very weird combination. But trust a foodie like me when I say it is amazing!!

The burger itself will make you want to order more and the cheese fries makes you feel “fat” in a good way! Other than duck dishes, they serve Beef Rendang Burger, Beef Rendang Lasagna and Chilli Chicken BBQ Burger.

I decided to get the Duck Leg Confit Burger as it look amazing and delicious. And boy, I was not disappointed. The duck meat patty was juicy and tender while sticking to the origin taste of a burger. The sauces used complimented the burger. Let’s not forget the crispy veggies too! I enjoyed it so much so I went back to the booth for a second helping. And yet, again I forgot to take a picture of it. Just because I could not resist savouring the juicy burger!

The price is quite reasonable. All dishes except the Duck Fat Cheese Fries ($5) are priced at $6. You can also mix and match two dishes for $10. What a bargain right??
