April may be the season of Spring but brace yourself, Winter’s War coming right towards Singapore! Last Sunday, The Huntsman: Winter’s War Asia Premiere was held in Universal Studios Singapore ahead of the movie’s release. Needless to say, this spectacular event attracted fans and media from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, Japan and many other countries. As the stars of the movie were set to grace the red carpet that evening, many fans were spotted queuing outside of USS since 8am!

Hundreds gathered along the red carpet to welcome stars of The Huntsman: Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Jessica Chastain and Director, Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, who also participated in the first movie Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) and Maleficent (2014).

Prior to the red carpet event, the stars have been enjoying their time in Singapore. Fans following Jessica’s instagram @chastainiac are definitely aware of her activities around Singapore. These include a taste of her favourite fruit, durian, a walk in the Flower Dome and a recent photo taken of Singapore’s night view.

At the red carpet, she alighted the car in a glittery black gown and approached all of her fans with a wide smile. That genuine smile definitely warmed the hearts of many who have waited for more than 10 hours. And when THE HUNTSMAN arrived on the carpet, the crowd went wild with screams and cameras held high. Indeed, Chris Hemsworth is probably the man everyone has been waiting for the entire day!

Chris is one of the nicest and friendliest celebs I have ever met. His charm was like magic on me and I am sure on everyone who were there on Sunday night, as he greeted fans warmly. I have met him once before last year at Avengers: Age of Ultron premiere and I was really lucky that he came to my area and said “Hi!”

Oscar winner Charlize Theron, who played Ravenna The Evil Queen, donned a high-slit white gown which reminded me of her breath-taking Dior commercial. Far from her wicked smiles and deadly glances in the movie, Charlize waved spontaneously to the crowd with a captivating smile. The event continued as the stars attended the movie premiere.

But for the rest of us, be sure to catch the movie in theatres from 14 April!
