Upcoming singer-songwriter Franki Love releases her video for “Walking Wounded”

Based in LA/NYC, upcoming singer-songwriter Franki Love recently released her single “Walking Wounded”, along with its official video. Franki wrote “Walking Wounded” at the piano late one night. Following the passing of her mom, she had been mentored and encouraged by music producer Phil Ramone to start writing. “Walking Wounded” was produced by Grammy award-winning producer, David Kershenbaum, who also produced two other songs OTIAS. It is Franki’s hope that “when people hear the song, they’ll feel inspired and connected to it.”
Franki had an early start with music, starting at the age of four, as a classically trained pianist. She began her career performing at local coffee shops in Los Angeles. Since then, she has bagged the award for ‘Female Singer-Songwriter of the Year’ at the LA Music Awards, as well as ‘Single of the Year’ for her hit, “Shadow”. In addition, “Shadow” was also nominated for ‘Best Music Video’ at the Hollywood Film Festival.
Apart from her solo artist career, Franki has also composed and performed music for TV, movies, and video games. These include singing for the English-language opening and ending songs used in Media Vision’s role-playing game Wild ARMs 4 and being the voice in “E” entertainment and “Monster”.
In 2007, Franki released her self-titled debut album independently and successfully funded her sophomore effort “Now Is The Time” in 2011 through Kickstarter. 2 of the singles of her album were recorded with producer Warren Huart of The Fray. OTIAS, which is due to be released later this year, was funded via Kickstarter and is dedicated to Franki’s mother, who passed away in January 2013 due to cancer.
