All Anisong fans rejoice!
It is official that legendary Japanese voice actress and singer Megumi Ogata will be joining the stellar line-up of Lantis Festival Singapore happening this March, bringing the number of artistes up to 8! For fans who have been following Japan’s anime songs music scene closely, Megumi Ogata is no foreign name to them. Her impressive portfolio includes voicing many memorable characters, namely Sailor Uranus from Sailor Moon and Shinji Ikari from Neon Genesis Evangelion to cite a few. This will be the first time Megumi Ogata will be performing live ever in Singapore.

Singapore represents one out of the 6 cities of the 2015 ANISONG World Tour Lantis Festival – an event proudly presented by the world’s largest label for anime song artists Lantis Records. To commemorate the 15-year mark of their establishment, they held the Lantis Festival 2014 to bring anime song loving fans in Japan together for a memorable experience. Other cities includes Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Seoul, Shanghai and Taipei. The ongoing Lantis Festival has since covered a total of 9 concerts across 4 cities in Japan, delivering successful performances for many thousands of fans. The Tokyo concerts held on the 13th, 14th and 15th of September had an amazing turnout of 28,000 fans in 3 days.
ANISONG WORLD TOUR ~ LANTIS FESTIVAL IN SINGAPORE is set to take place at The Star Theatre, The Star Performing Arts Centre on 28th March 2015.
