Deb Fung took three years break from music to take the role of co-director at Soulmanna Live. Deb, a mother of three children, champions artistes with Asian heritages throughout the South East Asia region. If you find the name of the company familiar, you might heard of it when Wong Fu Productions were in Singapore. Soulmanna Live was the company responsible for bringing them to Singapore.
Now, Deb is ready to make a comeback!
Coming April 21, Deb will be singing as well as sharing her story on her journey and project. Currently, Deb is working on Project AK-47 which which focuses on rescuing and restoring child soldiers. Through her concert in Singapore and Sydney, Deb aims to raise awareness on her project.
Based in Philippines, Project AK-47 is focused on building schools in the mountain villages where conscription numbers are high. They believe that education is important tool to educate the children as well as their parents about the dangers of joining the armies.
