Hidden Jewel: Mindy Gledhill

“Indie singer songwriter that will leave you floating like a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a strawberry soda.”

That was how Mindy Gledhill described herself on her official webpage official website and there is undoubtedly no argument on that. In fact, I could even add more adjectives to that. Talented. Inspiring. Beautiful. Creative. Most importantly, she is genuine and sincere in making music and this is easily reflected by her songs.

Mindy already has four albums under her belt with the latest self-released album “A pocketful of Poetry” released this year. I must say that all are replay-worthy. Let’s dive in straight into her music.

I Do Adore

The first track that I heard and since then, there is no turning back. An upbeat song accompanied with a guitar and an unique voice, I do Adore, definitely makes one smile.

“When you reach for the stars

Don’t forget who you are

And please don’t turn around and grow up way too fast”

A genuine and inspiring song from the mother of two bubbly boys. Hourglass is yet another emotional piece by Mindy.

All about the heart

You’re a butterfly held captive

Small and safe in your cocoon

Go on you can take your time

Time is said to heal all wounds

A piece with lyrics that are worthy of food for thoughts.

If you think this is already impressive, this is just a sneak preview of Mindy’s music. To check out more of her amazing tracks, visit her YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/BlueMorphMusic/

There is so much more to the music industry than just what we heard on the mainstream channel. Take a listen to Mindy Gledhill songs and I assure it will bring you to a whole new world where mostly coupled with just the voice and a simple beat yet enriching and full of warmth.
