Food Review: Penny University

If you’re looking for cafes that serve all day breakfast and really good coffee, you should head down to Penny University!

Penny university is located at 402 East Coast Road, Singapore 428997.

It was my first visit there so I was pretty excited to try out their food as I have heard lots of rave reviews about this cafe from my friends. I really like the ambience of the cafe, it is very calm and nice, a good environment if you want to sit, do your work and have a cup of yummy brewed coffee.

I ordered the eggs benedict with smoked salmon and a cup of hot chocolate. The eggs benedict was really good as compared to others that I’ve had. I really liked their homemade hollandaise sauce that they used! It had this distinct flavour which is quite hard to comprehend.

The eggs benedict with smoked salmon is made up of;

Two poached eggs on sourdough toasts, chilli jam, homemade hollandaise sauce, smoked salmon or turkey ham.

The hot chocolate as well was very yummy and rich (not too sweet)!

I’d really recommend you to visit this cafe if you’re looking for good all day breakfast and a cosy environment! 🙂
