Places To Visit In Miami, Florida

Carrying on from my previous post of places to visit in New York City, I shall now share the few places I’d recommend you to visit when you are in Miami, Florida.

1) South Beach

No visit to Miami can be considered complete without a stop at South Beach, the biggest hot spot in Miami. From shopping to partying, this area of Miami Beach is well-known for being a very popular tourist attraction. I’d also recommend you to take a South Beach Walking Tour and explore the artistic architecture of the area. If you’re into something that is more happening, you can party all night with the Miami Beach Nightlife.

2) Zoo Miami

Located at Miami-Dade County, Florida, the Miami-Dade Zoological Park and Gardens, commonly known as Zoo Miami, also formerly known as Miami Metro Zoo, is the largest and oldest zoological garden in Florida, and the only tropical zoo in the United States.

Ticketing Details:

Miami Metro Zoo is a beautiful place to spend the day. The zoo is open 9:30 – 5:30 daily (the ticket booth closes at 4:00) and the cost is $15.95 for adults, $11.95 for children ages 3-12.

3) Miami Seaquarium

The Miami Seaquarium is a 38-acre (15 ha) oceanrium located on the island of  Virginia Key in Bidcayne Bay, Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States and is located near down-town Miami. One of the main Miami Seaquarium’s attractions is Lolita, one of the world’s oldest captive orca. She is also currently the park’s only orca. Lolita arrived at the Miami Seaquarium in 1970, where she joined the park’s first orca, Hugo.
