I’m always anxious for the month of May because it brings me happiness.

But why, you may ask?

Music Matters is happening in May!

Music Matters Live with HP features over 60 bands from more than 19 countries performing over 160 shows around Clarke Quay and the best thing it is free.

Great Music + Free admission = Happy Atiqah! 🙂

Over the past years, they have invited bands like TKWC, Simple Plan and many more. I was the lucky one who managed to witness this great event two years ago.

I was in the front row and was so close to Pierre from Simple Plan. Check out this video I took.

My aim for attending Music Matters at the point of time is solely for Simple Plan. However, another talented band caught my eyes, TKWC (These Kids Wear Crowns). They even performed with Simple Plan.

I couldn’t attend last year festival as I was really busy with school but this year, I’m not going to miss it and you should be there too.

 

I can’t wait to see Joseph Vincent and At Sunset. I went to the YouTube concert last May and Joseph was performing. Let me warn you guys, don’t let him get close to your girlfriend. Else, you will need to go for singing lessons and serenade her!

What can you expect from this festival?

And if you’re lucky enough, you will get to hang and chat with the band after their set. They are really friendly. Don’t be shy to ask for a picture! 🙂
