Following a sold-out event at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, The Walt Disney Company’s D23 is coming to our shores in 2027. So, what exactly is D23?

Launched in 2009 as D23: The Official Disney Fan Club, the name D23 holds a special meaning: the D stands for Disney, while “23” references 1923, the year Walt Disney opened his first studio in Hollywood.

It has since evolved into the premier global celebration of Disney storytelling and fandom. This immersive, multi-day event brings fans up close to the world of Disney through live stage presentations, major announcements, interactive experiences and specially curated merchandise, inviting audiences like you and me to experience the magic behind the stories we love and grew up with.

Mark your calendars now! D23 Asia: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will make its debut at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre over three days in June 2027. Building on the success of the sold-out D23 event in Anaheim last weekend, the first-ever D23 in Asia will bring together Disney fans from across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
