Every anime fan may have dreamt of living in their favourite anime series and even marrying their crush! You might be able to fulfil this wish, with the newly released anime series, ZENSHU!

ZENSHU follows a prodigy animator Natsuko Hirose, who rose to fame upon her TV debut. The pressure for success and lack of experience in love caused her to struggle with the storyboard for the up-and-coming film project.

One unfortunate day, Hirose found out that one of her fellow animators died from food poisoning. Also affected by it, she suddenly realizes and wakes up in an anime she grew up watching called, A Tale Of Perishing.

This original Japanese anime series by MAPPA also has a deep meaning in its title. Upon reading, I found out that the term, “Zenshu” translates from Japanese to “redo everything”. It truly reflects Hirose’s relentless pursuit of perfection as she overcomes challenges in her directorial journey.

The anime is a good combination of action scenes with elements of comedy. Not spoiling it too much, you will catch a glimpse of Hirose’s ability to create an impactful storyboard within minutes. She rewrites the narrative of the colourful world which she knows too well while reliving it with her beloved crush, Luke Braveheart! I am excited to see where this fantasy series will lead as new episodes drop!
