A group of survivors get stranded on the Airport Bridge while it is on the verge of collapsing as they encounter another challenge in Project Silence!
A government official from the presidential office (Lee Sun Kyun) and her daughter (Kim Su An) were on their way to the airport. A tow truck driver (Ju Ji Hoon) rushed to the multi-collision scene. Golfer and caddy sisters (Park Hee Von) and (Park Ju Hyun) had just missed their flights. The nervous researcher (Kim Hie Won) responsible for the government experiment; Project Silence, were driven and accompanied by a well protected military vehicle with dangerous canines on the Airport Bridge.
The kinship developed between the unlikely survivors may not be the best but it works in the situation. They pooled together their strengths and tactics to avoid danger. The disagreements between the characters came off as comedic while suspense grew towards the end. As the movie progressed, it felt like I was watching the infamous zombie-infested Korean movie Train to Busan whom Kim also played the part of the daughter of the protagonist.
It was saddening to hear about the passing of the late actor, Lee Sun Kyun. The first time I saw him on the small screen was in the popular drama, Coffee Prince which has gone through many remakes since then. Lee also made it on the international stage in Bong Joon-ho’s Academy Award-winning film Parasite. I hope this movie had an everlasting impact on his fans and he will be dearly missed.
