Kygo concludes Kids In Love Tour with a bang in Singapore

After embarking on the first leg of his Kids In Love Tour in New Zealand last month, Kygo closed it out with his final show at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 5 November. Along with the nearly two hours of mixing chart-topping hits, the night was further enhanced with thrilling pyrotechnics and unforgettable light displays that had the concert goers dancing along to the rhythm.

The heart-tromping performance from the Norwegian EDM extraordinaire set the place on fire, and in this case, quite literally! The evening’s performance was supported by vocals from Justin Jesso and Sandro Cavazza, along with Frank Walker as the opening act. Kygo remixed a variety of influential hits from the past and a few trending on the radio today! Amongst them included Stargazing, Stole The Show and Sexual Healing by Marvin Gaye.

Swedish singer and songwriter Cavazza dedicated a soulful rendition of Without You accompanied by Kygo as a tribute to the late Avicii who passed away on 20 April this year. The night was without a doubt incomplete without a performance of Kygo’s latest single Happy Now featuring Cavazza.

The audience was also treated to an acoustic take of Kygo’s 2014 chart-topper Firestone (originally featuring Conrad Sewell) when Kygo called upon Jesso to join him for the closing number. The rendition started with Kygo on the piano and was amplified rapidly as he transitioned from the keys back to his booth. The crowd burst into exhilirating dance moves and it was a sight to behold as the lighted wristbands shimmered throughout the stadium.

Kids In Love is Kygo’s latest studio album released in 2017 with popular tunes such as Remind Me To Forget, Sunrise and title track Kids In Love.

The Fifth Parlour would like to thank Sony Music Singapore for the invitation.
