Music Matters Live is returning for its 12th year! The Fifth Parlour has been attending the festival for a few years and have been enjoying all the great music during the festival. Not only that, we’ve also made some good friends thanks to the festival.

This is the second year that the festival is being held in September. More than 40 top emerging acts representing 14 countries will be performing during the 4 nights from September 9 – 12. Unlike previous years where the performance venues are usually situates around Clark Quay, CHIJMES comes on board as the main showcase venue partner this year. The main stage will be located at the CHIJMES outdoor lawn. Other than CHIJMES, music lovers will be glad to know that Timbre Music has returned as the official venue partner to provide their outlets for various showcases hence, you can catch the artists at various venues such as Barber Shop by Timbre, Timbre Music Academy Hall, SWITCH by Timbre, Timbre @ The Substation & CANVAS.

If you have been a follower of the festival, you will find some of these acts familiar as they have performed at previous years’ Music Matters Live. These include Fairchild, Dru Chen, Lyon Apprentice, M1LDL1FE (formerly known as Take Two) and more!
