Meet Michael ‘Po’ Pogson (lead vocals), Drew Southwell (piano, drums, guitar, vocals) and Jake Allen (bass, guitar, drums) from Australia. Having fun is what the band promises for all their shows. They inject a lot of energy as well as instrumentation to ensure that all their shows have the fun element and everyone present can have a good time.

Last month, the band released their single, Stay. “The new single is about the feeling where you just want a person or a moment to stay. The song has soft parts and big parts and it’s our favourite song to play live,” explained the band on their single.

The band is in the midst of completing their EP. Fans can expect a departure from Drawing North’s old material and be entertained with electronic elements and organic elements mixed with big melodies as the band grows in the direction of their music. The band hopes that fans will like the new direction that they are taking.

Australian fans, this is your last chance to catch the band in action during their tours in Australia as they will be headed back to America in August for the long-term. We wish they would drop by Singapore since we are just a few hours away from Australia!

If you love their rendition of Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You, you have got to check out their rendition of Don Henley’s Boys of Summer.

The Fifth Parlour would like to thank Drawing North for the interview and Hayley for coordinating the interview.
