Calling all Kpop lovers out there, you don’t want to miss the upcoming and highly anticipated SG KPOP CON that will be happening on the 24th of June 2015.

SG KPOP CON is an annual event that celebrates the union of culture and interest in Kpop amongst the locals here in Singapore. As Kpop continues to gain pertinent interest worldwide, it has now become an integral part of the growing Korean Wave. This year, SG KPOP CON is proud to establish itself in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Singapore and Korea.

The event will host a K-pop competition where grand-prize winners will be selected to represent Singapore in the K-POP Festival 2015 held in Chang Won, South Korea. SG KPOP CON will also showcase various performances by both local and international artists aimed at highlighting the union of both Korea and Singapore’s unique cultures, and in celebration of the shared love for the arts, music and dance.

The current line up includes performances by Mike Chang, acclaimed homegrown-musician, music director and conductor, who will be taking the stage alongside the established Nanyang Polytechnic Chinese Orchestra.

Singapore’s Korea International School Choir will also be delivering astonishing vocal performances, showcasing the young talents of the school as the choir consists of students ranging from the 3rd to 6th grade.

Lastly, talented and passionate dancer and instructor, Jojo will also be gracing the stage. You might recognize her from the TV Series “Miss Korea”, and Jojo is well acknowledged in the local scene for her foray into the Korean Music Scene.
