Creativity is an important element in every industry. To protect your original work, trademark and copyright for example needs to be applied as to prevent your work from being stolen or used without your permission. Thus, on World Intellectual Property (IP) Day 2014, it aims to celebrate all things creative and to promote awareness on IP.

Come 26 April, you will get to understand and learn more about IP through the activity booths that will be set up at Bugis Junction. You will also get to create your own original IP. From movies to music, arts and fashion, there are so many activities that will keep you busy on this Saturday afternoon.

Come down by 6 pm to get get entertained by  YouTube Sensations, Jason Chen and local artistes such as Taufik Batisah, MICappella , The Sam Willows, and Jack and Rai .

Are you a fan of Jason Chen?

This is your chance to compose a song with him. All you have to do is contribute lyrics to complete Singapore’s first crowd-sourced song. For more information, check out this video by Jason Chen.

The crowd-sourced song will be unveiled during the finale on World IP Day.

Tickets are not needed for this event so come down Bugis Junction on April 26 to celebrate World IP Day!
