Born in Houstan, Texas, Megan Nicole started her YouTube journey in 2009 covering Kings of Leon, Use Somebody. Since then, she have been making covers and have since garnered more than 2 million covers and over 250 million views.

Megan released her first single, B-e-a-utiful, on July 15, 2011. Her first single went viral with over 24 million views and caught the attention of record labels. She was then signed to Bad boy/Interscope in 2012.
