Nick Jonas: The Sunday Best Preview

Everyone knows the Jonas Brothers. Mention their name and we immediately think of the hits that defined so many memories from Burnin’ Up and When You Look Me in the Eyes to their more recent chart-toppers like Waffle House and Sucker.

While the group is iconic, I loved watching the brothers venture out into their own solo acts. All three are doing incredibly well, but of the trio, Nick Jonas was the one who started his solo journey first. He gave us massive hits like Chains and Jealous and he recently announced his brand-new album, Sunday Best.

Last week, he was in town for Arts Week and I was thrilled to see that he squeezed some time out of his busy schedule to perform an exclusive “first listen” event for his new music. He introduced us to four tracks from the upcoming album: Sweet to Me, Handprints, 911 and Princesses.

We got to hear the full version of Sweet to Me and snippets of the other three songs, but the one that truly captured my heart was Princesses. It tells the sweetest story about him playing with his daughter. He described playing the prince or the king to his princess, sharing his perspective on not wanting her to grow up too fast and wanting to cherish every second while she is still young.

I truly believe this is Nick most personal and creative work. You can really feel how he poured his life experiences and love for his wife and daughter into his lyric.

Thank you Universal Music Singapore for organizing this event! Nick Jonas’ Sundays Best is available on all major streaming platforms from 6 February 2026.
