Mediacorp radio station 987FM recently concluded their Mediacorp 987 STAR 2025, a search for the next big media personality. Four finalists, Georgina Pattarida Dobson, Lex Whitlock, Nicolette Callie Wee and Shaniah Kiew battled it out in challenges in front of the huge crowd at 313@Somerset on 31 May 2025.

The two-hour grand finale challenged the finalists and showed their versatility and strength. Temasek Polytechnic student, Georgina Pattarida Dobson emerged as the winner and was crowned Mediacorp 987 STAR. She walked away with $5,000 cash prize and a contract with Mediacorp 987. A quick search of her revealed that she is the current president of Temasek Polytechnic Emcees and has experiences in hosting events and scriptwriting. It is no wonder then she managed to clinch the title!
