Seo Dong Ju’s world changed after facing the biggest betrayal in his life. His lifelong commitment to the Daesan Group shambled when an arranged marriage of the heir triggered a chain of events in Buried Hearts.
The revenge drama begins with Dong Ju lying aimlessly in a net, after being washed ashore on a beach. For the first two episodes, you can see how detailed the main characters are introduced. The main characters in this drama are Yeom Jang Seon, the most influential individual in politics and a former director of the National Intelligence Service, and the son-in-law of the chairman of the Daesan Group, Heo Il Do. Jealousy brewed as Il Do was treated like an outcast compared to Dong Ju, who was a director from the chairman’s secretary office.

Without spilling any further on what to expect, I felt that the narrative with its character pans out quite well. You will understand how relatable and cohesive they are. The leads for this drama are actors Park Hyung Sik, Huh Joon Ho and Lee Hae Young who will face off in this political high-stakes battle of survival, ambition and power.
The story tends to be slightly predictable but Dong Ju pulled it off by balancing his casanova, affectionate side with his co-star Hong Hwa Yeon before the kerfuffle begins soon after. Catch his desire for revenge as he takes over the elite’s ultimate weakness; the know-how of the Daesan Group.
