elijah woods was recently in Singapore for CLOUD 9, the music festival organised by Mediacorp. The Canadian pop singer-songwriter shared his quirky antics with us, some of which may end up as a tattoo on his arm.

Standing at 194 cm tall, elijah woods was welcomed once again as he landed at Changi airport last Tuesday. After flying almost eighteen hours from Vancouver, he remained as cheerful as ever sharing his fond memories of performing here last year. Without any knowledge of the other side of the world, he kept an open mind as he toured Asia for the first time landing in Singapore as a start.
The surreal feeling turned into excitement when his music was well-received by fans in Asia. He shared, “my social media page exploded with messages from fans, a few inviting me over to have a taste of the Chicken Rice!”
2024 was an unforgettable year for woods as his little stars aligned. He got married, released fifteen songs and is now based in Los Angeles. The multi-faceted, multi-platinum pop artiste, singer-songwriter, producer, and recording engineer. He has been perfecting his music for eight years, expressing himself with the freedom to set his own genre.
Renowned for his irresistibly catchy melodies, vivid storytelling, and signature crisp production, he has established himself as one of pop music’s most compelling solo acts. He describes his music as “romantic, warm, energetic pop”.
With life’s ups and downs, music mirrors his life experiences. “I live in the moment”, woods explained. From bleaching his hair twice to composing his originals from four minutes to two years, woods is ready to enforce his mantra in 2025. It is to prioritise health and be in the present while continuing to be madly in love. “Last Girl was a timestamp that encapsulates the feeling of being married to my wife,” said woods.
With multiple platinum and gold records and four JUNO Award nominations. Woods’s five EPs and numerous singles, he has released over the past three years including Elijah Would!, Hey There Elijah, and silver lining, all released in 2024 alone amassed over one billion streams, as an independent artiste.
If you haven’t noticed, he has many tattoos! It’s a fun fact that he has twenty tattoos which are some just random and meaningful. For instance, one was inspired by his favourite movie, The Lion King.

Stay tuned as elijah woods returns to Singapore on 10 August at The Theatre of Mediacorp with his Give Me The Sunlight tour. He will be bringing his chart-topping hits and brand-new tracks to the stage for a one night only concert. Pre-sale tickets to the show will be available from February 26!
