The three-day Anime Festival Asia Singapore (AFA) attracted anime fans who came dressed up as their favourite characters. Booths are decked with memorabilia and there were stage appearances by Japan’s biggest anime series. We stopped by Crunchyroll’s booth. Crunchyroll is an online content streaming platform that features anime.
Crunchyroll highlighted two anime, Solo Leveling and Tower of God at AFA.
Solo Leveling follows Jinwoo Sung, a weak hunter in a world where humans fight monsters from magical gates. After a near-death experience, he gains the power to level up infinitely, transforming into the strongest hunter and uncovering the mysteries behind the gates. Second season is set to premiere in 2025.

We had the opportunity to experience what being Jinwoo at the Solo Leveling Dome is like. It was an incredible and immersive audiovisual experience which brought us to his adventures. At the end of the game, we received a special keychain as a reward for being brave hunters who slayed the dungeon gods.
The newly anime, Tower of God follows Twenty-Fifth Bam, a boy who entered a mysterious tower to reunite with his only friend, Rachel. Each floor presents deadly challenges, powerful foes, and secrets, as climbers compete to reach the top and have their greatest desires fulfilled.
Fans had the chance to attend a panel session featuring the leading voice of Tower or God, Taichi Ichikawa (voice of Twenty-Fifth Bam) and Saori Hayami (voice of Rachel). Both actors shared their experiences working on the anime and gave behind-the-scenes insights into its production. Some lucky fans even had the opportunity to meet Taichi!
More anime content is set to come your way at Crunchyroll, so subscribe to them!
The Fifth Parlour would like to thank Eastwest PR for the invitation.
