Kang In Ha (Lee Junyoung) partners up with Han Tae Oh (Lee Jaewook) one day and both decided to be resourceful with their strengths. Tae Oh is intellectually gifted with a troubled past whereas Kang In Ha is an illegitimate son of the Kang Oh Group. Born into a single-parent household with nothing but his good looks and charm, he is ravenous for success while being shunned by the Kang family. The pair steadily begin their ascent until an equally ambitious woman, Na Hye-won (Hong Suzu) with a similarly troubled past threatens to derail their plans forever.

This is Suzu’s first leading role in a drama together with seasoned actors Junyoung and Jaewook. It is a new experience for all; Jaewook has little or less facial expressions, but is articulates with elaborate gestures that portrayed by great cinematography. Junyoung struggles to maintain his quirky carefree role despite making minor bloopers due to his humorous personality whilst supporting each other.

Dubbed the “Impossible Heir Project”, Junyoung further described the three leads as “peers” as they have similar ages. They felt relatable and fun portraying young underdogs hustling for a piece of the pie. This fictional drama is helmed by a unique CEO who acts the part differently. He articulates with full confidence and pure wits, making it interesting to watch. I am curious about what lies ahead after the story fast-forwards to the corporate world, it is such a dopamine rush!
