Music Matters Live is back in Singapore! In its 18th edition, the music festival featured 35 up-and-coming artists from 20 countries. The Fifth Parlour was on-site at *SCAPE Ground Theatre to catch the array of emotions happening throughout the live performances on 12 September!
Warner Music Present featured eight unmissable music acts from Warner Music Asia’s bests, including multi-talented DJ/Producer/singer-songwriter; SHAUN from South Korea, China’s chart-topping hip hop star thomeboydontkill, Philippines Pop sensation FELIP, Vietnam’s Indie-darling Vũ and many others such as Abus from Taiwan, LUSS from Thailand, Paul Partohap from Indonesia, yonawo from Japan.
I personally enjoyed watching SHAUN performing one of his hit singles, Way Back Home. It definitely met my expectations of listening to his live performances. You can witness the array of excitement of screaming fans in the room.
Not knowing who it was, I was impressed with Paul Partohap’s performance as I really love R&B genre. His music is new to me and the way he sang really made me vibe to his setlist. He reminded me of the old good times of the 90s.
All singers & bands showed their very own distinctive uniqueness and colour on stage. Not only they were performing in their own languages, the enthusiastic crowd was vibing to all the performances as the mood changed from R&B to hip hop to ballad. It was definitely a night to remember!
